Subspecies: R. n. norvegicus (Berkenhout, 1769) .

Distribution: Despite the occurrence of a few records only, this invasive species seems to be abundant with an extremely wide range in almost all habitats (also human settlements) across the country. (Fig. 43)

Previous records: Damascus (Trouessart & Kollmann 1923), Kharabow (Shehab 2005), Yahmool (Shehab & Charabi 2006).

Recent records: Deir ez-Zor, Mheimideh (2009), Al-Kadmous (2021).
