The German specimen was identified by comparison with the keys and details from the works of Nixon (1965, 1976), Papp (1973, 1981a), and Tobias (1986). Our material of this species was collected only in an alpine habitat (> 2000 m, Zugspitze). This species is illustrated in Fig. 29.
