Our specimens were identified morphologically using keys and information in Telenga (1955), Papp (1983), and Tobias (1986) as well as comparison with a specimen from Armenia (CNCHYM 01335) identified by Kotenko in 1981 and deposited in the CNC. The German and Armenian specimens also share similar DNA barcodes (99.5% overlap, sequence length of Armenian specimen is 425 bp). See also comments under G. indiensis above. Our material of this species was collected only in an alpine habitat (> 1900 m, Zugspitze). This species is illustrated in Figs 27, 28.
