Liparthrum bartschti Mühl, 1891

Material examined. Mazandaran Province, Nowshahr-Ecology Garden N 36º 38' 51", E 51º 30' 64", 30 m a.s.l., breeding in twigs of Populus sp. ( Salicaceae) Sudabe Amini leg., 4 specimens, September 2014.

This species was previously known only from Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Turkey (Knížek 2011) and Daghestan (Russia) (Petrov, 2005), collected only from mistletoe ( Viscum album) growing on Populus, but not directly from Populus itself. Our record is the first finding of this genus in Iran.
