Manota subspathula Hippa, 2007

Material: 1 male, AUSTRALIA: SE Qld., Mt. Glorious, Malaise trap, 13.ii.1961, leg. L. & M. Gressitt (BPBM). 1 male, PAPUA NEW GUINEA, NE, Telefomin, 1460m, light trap, 4–7.ix.1963, leg. R. Straatman (BPBM).

Remarks. The species was previously only known from the holotype from New Guinea. This is the first named species from continental Australia, but Jaschhof & Jaschhof (2010: 37) mentioned an unnamed species from Queensland.
