Comments. This species is considered here because Geolycosa altera was recently (Logunov 2012; World Spi- der Catalog 2020) placed in Trochosa . Although we have not studied the type, this species is adequately illustrated by Logunov (2012). Its peculiarly shaped vulva is exactly the same as that of H. ferox . The female allotype of G. atroscopulata is a subadult with a well-developed ‘pre-epigyne’. The structure of the epigyne and habitus in the type of Lycorma nigrichelis are identical to those of H. ferox .
