Material examined

Holotype. Female, 4.9 × 3.4 mm, NHM 1882.24, Seychelles, 7.3–22 m, coll. HMS Alert.

Diagnosis

Carapace transversely subovate, width 1.44 times length (Ng et al. 2021, figs 3A, 4A, 5A); surface covered with short, relatively dense pubescence which obscures surface and margins, with long simple setae along margins which do not obscure margin (Ng et al. 2021, figs 3A, 4A, 5A); anterolateral margin almost entire, with small granules, junction with posterolateral margin with small low lobe but not dentiform (Ng et al. 2021, figs 4A, 5A); posterior margin of epistome with median lobe raised, lateral margin concave (Ng et al. 2021, fig. 5B); third maxilliped with short, subquadrate ischium, merus quadrate, subdistal surface smooth (Ng et al. 2021, fig. 5D); major chela with fingers less than half length of palm (Ng et al. 2021, figs 3A, 4A, B, 5C); ambulatory legs with merus and propodus relatively short, stout (Ng et al. 2021, fig. 3B); vulvae large, cordate, positioned close to median part of sternite 6, opening obliquely (Ng et al. 2021, fig. 3D).
