(Figs 1–9, 19–21)

Description. Body length (from apex of vertex to tip of forewings) 3 6.15–6.25 mm (N = 6), Ƥ 6.85–7.05 mm (N = 7); forewings length 3 4.75–4.95 mm (N = 6), Ƥ 5.70–5.85 mm (N = 7).

General coloration. Vertex (Figs 1, 19), eyes brown. Frons (Figs 2, 21) brown with light brown verrucoses near lateral margins. Clypeus brown with dark brown marks. Rostrum dark brown. Antenna dark brown. Pro-and mesonotum brown with black brown marks. Forewings brown with more or less green, with black marks scattered. Hindwings dark brown. Legs brown with dark brown marks. Abdomen ventrally black brown with light green in visceral segments.

Head and thorax. Vertex (Figs 1, 19) 1.7 times wider at base than long in midline. Frons (Figs 2, 21) 1.2 times longer in midline than the widest part. Pronotum 1.2 times longer than vertex in midline. Mesonotum 1.6 times longer than pronotum in midline. Forewings (Figs 3, 19) 2.3 times longer than widest part, longitudinal veins distinct, Sc and R convergent near base, M three-branched, MA simple, MP bifurcate at middle part, Cu simple. Hind tibiae with one small lateral tooth near base and two large lateral teeth near apex. Spinal formula of hind leg: 3 (N=6) 8– 8–2; Ƥ (N=7) 8–8–2.

Male genitalia. Anal tube (Fig. 6) in dorsal view subtriangular, expanding distally, anterior margin slightly straight. Anal style short and broad near middle. Aedeagus (Figs 7, 8) strongly curved in lateral view, with lateral, ventral and dorsal lobes, dorsal lobe of aedeagus distally with a triangular process in midline. Aedeagus laterally with two laminae near middle on each side, lateral lobes apically bilobed, rounded apically (in ventral view), anterior margin of ventral lobe trifoliate. Genital styles (Fig. 9) in profile long oval, with strong process on dorsal margin, caudo-dorsal angle rounded.

Type material. Holotype 3, CHINA. Guizhou Province: Leigongshan National Natural Reserve, Fangxiang (26°28’N, 108°17’E), 1620 m, 16 Sep. 2005, F.-L. Xu. Paratypes: 1 3, same data as for holotype; 2 3, 3 ƤƤ, Leigongshan National Natural Reserve, Fangxiang, 900–1050 m, 15-18 Sep. 2005, Z.-Z. Li and B. Zhang; 1 3, 4 ƤƤ, Leigongshan National Natural Reserve, Xiaodanjiang, 16 Sep. 2005, Z.-G. Zhang and D.-Y. Ge; 1 3, Guizhou Province: Mayanghe National Natural Reserve (28°33’N, 108°30’E), 28 Sep. 2007, Z.-G. Zhang.

Etymology. “Quadri-” means “four”, this species is named for its aedeagus laterally with four distal laminae.

Remarks. This new species is similar to N. kuankuoshuiensis, but can be distinguished from the latter by: hind tibiae with three lateral teeth, spinal formula of hind leg (8–8–2); anal tube in dorsal view subtriangular, ventrally without processes; the laminae of aedeagus oval; the process of dorsal lobe laterally without any process (in the latter hind tibiae with two lateral teeth, spinal formula of hind leg (8–10–2); anal tube in dorsal view oval, ventrally with a process; the distal laminae of aedeagus with gladiate processes; the process of dorsal lobe with a small triangular process on each side).

Host plant. Unknown.

Distribution. Southwest China (Guizhou) (Fig. 25).
