Agriothera Meyrick, 1907 . Type species: Agriothera melanacma Meyrick, 1907, by monotypy.

The genus Agriothera can be easily recognized by the median longitudinal band of elongate forewing, with apex obviously prominent (Figs 1–4).

Distribution. China, Japan, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand (Heppner 2005).
