Spatulignatha chrysopteryx Wu, 1994: 198 . Type Locality: China (Sichuan). Type Depository: IZCAS.
Material examined. China: 1 ♂, Ruili Rare Arboretum, Ruili County (23°38′N, 97°59′E) Yunnan Province, 1000 m, 5.viii.2005, coll. Yingdang Ren.
Diagnosis. Adult (Figs. 1 a, 2a) with wing expanse 16.0–20.0 mm. This species can be separated from its congeners by the valva gradually narrowed to rounded apex, and the sacculus with a terminal spine in the male genitalia (Fig. 3 a).
Distribution. China (Sichuan, Yunnan).
Remarks. Spatulignatha chrysopteryx was described by Wu (1994) based on one male specimen from Sichuan. The additional specimen in this study was collected from Yunnan. The female remains unknown.
