Diagnosis. Pterostigma brown with pale spot at base; wing membrane hyaline; metacarp shorter than length of pterostigma, its distance from apex of the marginal only weakly shorter than its own length; basal two-thirds of hind tibia bright yellow; 1 st discal cell weakly wider than high; horizontal surface of T1 and T2 with strong satiny sheen; two preapical segments fully one-and-a-quarter times longer than wide; vein cu-a of hind wing strongly incurved and clearly longer than vein 1-1A; and spines on outer side of hind tibia differentiated into two types but both very sparse.

Distribution. China (Xinjiang) new record; Ethiopian, Europe, Oceanic, Western Palaearctic.

Note. Features of these specimens mostly agree with the descriptions of Nixon (1972) and Papp (1978) except scutellum not densely pubescent and hind margin of T2 distinctly sinuate.
