Current name: Stemodia maritima L. ( Scrophulariaceae).

Note: Stemodia Linnaeus, nom. cons. against Stemodiacra P. Browne. Turner & Cowan (in Phytologia 74: 90; 75: 305. 1993) incorrectly designated Houstoun material (BM) as lectotype. However, this is not original material for the name, and Sutton’s type choice (of a Patrick Browne collection) is accepted here.
