Current name: Solanum mammosum L. ( Solanaceae).

Note: As noted by Knapp & Jarvis, 248.32 (LINN) is a post-1753 Browne collection and not original material for the name, so its treatment as the type by Symon (in J. Adelaide Bot. Gard. 4: 103. 1981) and others is erroneous.
