Rhachitopis sp.

Material examined. Angola, Chicuma (1700m), Faz. Leo Kloof IX.1953 (1♂, 1♀) (MZUH) .

Remarks. The abdomen is lacking in the male, thus it is impossible to identify the species with certainty. Morphologically these specimens are similar to R. brachypterus Naskrecki, 1992, described from Zimbabwe, the only species of this genus with very short tegmina. Considering the distance of these Angolan specimens from Zimbabwe (ca. 1600 km), very likely they belong to an undescribed species.
