Material examined: 6 specimens. Tanzania, Kilimanjaro (1♀); Tanzania, Mbuyuni 9.IV.1897 (1♂, 1♀) ; Tanzania, Tanganika (1♂) ; Kenya, Mombasa (1♀) (MZUR); Tanzania (1♀) (MNHN) .
Remarks. The female from Mbuyuni was compared with the holotype of X. atrox by B. Uvarov, who left a label on the specimen where he noted that only antennal joints are slightly more elongated than on the type (Fig. 42); Figs. 43 and 45 show head and antenna and the habitus of the male.
