Bathymetric distribution: 10–85 m —SW.

Geographical distribution: Brazil (RJ, SP) to Argentina (North Patagonia)—B/A.

Remarks: Smith (1915) originally described this species based on a sample collected by the “Terra Nova” expedition. Signorelli et al. (2019) pointed out that this sample was erroneously assigned to Malvinas / Falkland Islands, instead of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Further, Signorelli et al. (2019) recorded Trachycardium manueli Prado, 1993 as a synonym of D. delicatula .
