Remarks: Teredo mindanensis Bartsch, 1923 was referred from Brazil (Rios 1994, 2009; CTFB 2024), but Müller & Lana (2004) pointed out that this is an Indo-Pacific species, and that those records from Brazil are of T. turnerae .
