Geographical distribution: USA ( Florida Keys, Texas), Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Central America, Brazil (to BA)—C/B.
Remarks: Huber (2010a) suggested that this species is a synonym of Anadara sacernenda (Lamy, 1907), and that the material refereed as A. baughmani from Brazil is an "unnamed" species. In the CTFB (2024) it is listed as A. sacernenda .
