Bathymetric distribution: 3.8–13.5 m—SW.

Geographical distribution: Brazil (ES to SP)—B.

Remarks: Although Rios (2009) considered L. thryptica as a synonym of L. locklini (McGinty, 1955), these species are currently recognized as distinct (MolluscaBase 2023; CTFB 2024). Tunnel et al. (2010) recorded L. locklini occurring in the Gulf of Mexico and West Indies.
