Distribution in Bulgaria: Strandzha Mts, South Black Sea coast: Ropotamo Reserve (present paper), Black Sea coast: Cape Emine (present paper).
Global distribution: Iran, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Russia. In the Balkans this species was reported only from Greece (7 ♂, Kavala, Schroder et al. 2011). The report from Albania extends the species range westward and together with the Bulgarian records shows that the species has a wider distribution in the Balkans.
