Uittien (1926) cited the specimens Forestry Bureau 6610 and Forestry Bureau 6678 in U as types of L. flavescens, therefore, corresponding to syntypes (Art. 9.6 of the ICN). Analysing the collection in the herbarium U we have found two specimens of Forestry Bureau 6678 and one of Forestry Bureau 6610, with many duplicates in various herbaria. Therefore, in accordance with Art. 9.3 of the ICN, we designate the specimen Forestry Bureau 6678 (U [U0006908]) as lectotype. Furthermore, the specimen Forestry Bureau 2016 (L! [L2352760]; RB! [RB00436967]) is cited in the protologue as paratype.
