When describing Luehea maroniensis, Benoist (1921) cited the specimen Wachenheim 116 in the protologue. We found five specimens associated with the name in the herbaria F, K and P. Therefore, in accordance with Art. 9.3 of the ICN, we designated here, among the syntypes, the specimen P [P 02142919] as the lectotype of L. maroniensis .
