Coenosia ghilarovi Lobanov, 1988

Figs 3 F, G

Comments. A. M. Lobanov described Coenosia ghilarovi from a series of females and males from Zeya in the Amur region [53°44’N 127°15’E] (Lobanov 1988). The holotype male was stated to be in ZISP, but there is no specimen labeled as holotype or as paratypes, and there is also a series with another, unpublished, specific name, not Coenosia ghilarovi (Pont 2004) . The species is known only from the original description and there are no specimens labelled as Coenosia ghilarovi in any collection.

This species has not been included in any of the published identification keys to Coenosia, but has now been included in this new key to Russian Coenosia based on the description by Lobanov. Coenosia ghilarovi is described as very similar to Coenosia mollicula (Fallén, 1825) and differs from the latter by the yellow colour of the pleura, anepisternum, postpronotal lobes and abdomen (see the key below), and in the structure of the terminalia. The male terminalia, taken from Lobanov (1988) are shown in the figures 3 F, G.

Distribution. Palaearctic: Russia (SFE).
