Report as epibiont on bryozoans: This species was reported as epibiont of bryozoans and algae from Strait of Georgia, Departure Bay float, Canada (Wailes 1943; Mccauley & Hancock 1971).

Report as epibiont on other hosts: The species was reported on algae from the North Sea near Ostende (Belgium), near Helgoland archipelago (the Norh Sea), marine aquarium in Hamburg (Germany) (Kahl 1935); from Xiamen (Amoy), China on algae (Wang & Nie 1932).
