Distribution. Bhutan, India (Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh), Nepal.

Biology. Stebbing (1914) gives some notes on the life history and the gallery system in the phloem. All host records are from Quercus spp. (Fagaceae) . The beetles attack weakened trees, especially those parasitised by mistletoe.
