Diagnosis. On wing pattern, O. angularis is unique within Oreta in the angled protrusions of the outer margin on vein M3 of the forewing and vein Rs on the hind wing. They share the dark brown ground colour and lack of transverse lines on both wings with O. inflativalva sp. nov. In addition, the outer margin of the hind wing is straight. In the male genitalia, O. angularis is characterized by the long and slender process on the valva. The aedeagus has a transverse row of spines posteriorly, a large spinose patch diverging from the former, a posterior process, and two cornuti. The female genitalia are described here for the first time: the region surrounding the ostium is well sclerotized, appearing as a deep columniform tube, with the ventral margin much shorter than the dorsal margin; another smaller tube is present dorsally; the posterior apophyses are short, and the anterior apophyses long; the ductus bursae is narrow and short; the corpus bursae is broad, without signum.
Distribution. China (Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Fujian, Guangdong, Hainan).
