Type locality: Rodriguez Island .
Redescription of adult (Plate 6). Wingspan 10 mm. Head tufted, brownish white, palpus clothed with white scales. Thorax and tegula whitish irrorate pale brown. Forewing whitish, inwardly oblique partial fascia from dorsum just before halfway, a diffuse spot near costa and furhter spots towards termen, a blackish line around termen; fringe dark brown. Hindwing pale grey.
Male genitalia. Not examined.
Female genitalia. Not examined.
Diagnosis. Distinguished by the blackish spot on dorsum before middle which is almost extended to an inwardly oblique fascia and the pair of spots towards apex.
Biology. Not known.
Distribution. Rodriguez Island.
Type material. Lectotype ♂ (designated by Lewis & Sohn, 2015) Specimen without abdomen, Rodriguez Is. viii–xi.1918 H.F. Tomasett & H.J. Snell coll. Paralectotype ♀ hereby designated, same data as holotype .
