1. Selatosomus aeneomicans (Fairmaire, 1889)
Type locality: “ Koui-Tchéou [= Guizhou]” .
Remarks: This species was originally recorded from Guizhou; no further information is known (Fairmaire 1889). Schimmel et al. (2015) recorded this species from “Chinkiang”, “Nan-king” and “Hweisin”; most of these localities are ambiguous. The authors regarded “Chinkiang” as Xinjiang; however, “Chinkiang” could also be Zhenjiang [äữ] in Zhejiang Province. Both “Nan-king” and “Hweisin [Weixian/ ũƃ]” were initially located in Gansu Province (Schimmel et al. 2015), but “Nan-king” is usually known as Nanjing [南ż] in Jiangsu Province. Kishii & Jiang (1999) recorded this species from Ebian [Ẃǿ], Sichuan, but the aedeagus is clearly different from the illustration of Schimmel et al. (2015). Jiang & Wang (1999) recorded this species from Shennongjia [ŘÈ⁂], Guangyuan [in North Sichuan / ƀnjŨḿ], Jinyunshan [in Beibei District, Chongqing / ffl ẉẍḋḎỄƜ], and Pingba [in Anshun, Guizhou / OiNJȐ ḴṮẈ], Jiang (1998) also recorded this species from Longmenhe, Xingshan, Hubei [āẍḦƜËȖã]. These localities are near or conform to the type locality, but the specimens of these records still need to be re-examined to further confirm their correctness. For the above reasons, these records will not be included herein.
Distribution: Guizhou.
