Tribe Tabanini (Chainey & Oldroyd, 1980)

Diagnosis: Basicosta densely setulose except in some palearctic species. Antennae usually short and stout. Basal flagellomere with well-developed dorsal angle. Flagellum with 4 flagellomeres.
