Remarks. Paulino de Oliveira (1882) recorded the species for Angola without mention to any locality. Eventually, it could be confounded with the previous species. Ecological notes were provided by Holm & Marais (1992) and Rojkoff & Perissinoto (2015). Taking into account how it copes with artificial breeding conditions, Malec & Šípek (2017) included it in their group 1.
