Genus Trogodes Westwood in Boheman 1857

Rojkoff (2011b) redefined and revised the genus, describing a new subgenus (Phaenetrogodes Rojkoff, 2011) and providing a key for its species. There are six and three recognized species in the nominal and Phaenetrogodes subgenera, respectively (Rojkoff 2011b). Two species of the nominal subgenus were recorded for Angola (Rojkoff 2011b). We give a new species record for this country belonging to the nominal subgenus.
