Shortcrowna Li & Li 2014: 468 –469. Type species: Shortcrowna leishanensis Li & Li, by original designation.
Remarks. This genus has been adequately described by Li & Li (2014) for the species collected from China. The genus can be recognised by the crown being about as wide as or shorter than distance between eyes and by the aedeagus with tubular shaft and wing-like dorsolateral lobes. Phylogenetic analysis of Wang et al. (2017) showed this genus to be closely related to Evacanthus . One new species of this genus has been described from Myanmar.
