known from Mexico to northern Colombia. In Guyana known from Iwokrama Forest Reserve, Whitewater Camp, 4° 43.890'N, 58° 50.992'W, elev. 60 m; Base Camp, Mount Ayanganna, 5° 20.063'N, 59° 55.486'W, elev. 732 m.

This species has been collected in leaf litter.
