Material examined. 1♂: Amankutan, alpine meadow, 39°17'N, 66°54'E, 1600 m, 23.v.1989, M. Barták (CULSP).

Remarks. Similar to P. ecalceatus (Zetterstedt), except for the following features: frons narrower on upper part, mesoscutum denser golden-yellow microtrichose and different genitalic features (left epandrial lamella with very long setae (up to 0.20 mm) arranged along entire ventral surface including tip, cerci and apex of right epandrial lamella with very long setae). We hesitate to describe this species based on a single specimen.
