Remarks. N. sumatrana was subdivided into two subspecies by Volynkin & Černy (2018). In Thailand only the subspecies N. sumatrana effractoida Volynkin & Černy 2018 was known to occur whereas the nominate subspecies was reported from the islands of Sumatra and Borneo, and Malay Peninsula within Malaysia (Volynkin & Černy 2018). The new locality of the nominate subspecies is also situated on Malay Peninsula but represents a new record from Thailand, based on the orange color of forewing pattern and dark suffusion on the hindwings.
