Proarna hilaris (Germar, 1834) .

The UMSP has specimens from Guarico, Hato Masaguaral, 45 km S. Calabozo, 8.57o N 67.58o W, Savannah #2, 75 m, 8–9–IV–1988 and Aragua, Maracay, VI–1974. The FSCA has specimens from Trujillo, Agua Santa, VIII–1968.

The species has been reported from around the Caribbean basin (Metcalf 1963a, Duffels & van der Laan 1985).
