Comments. BƟ*üǍć & H*©ƟMǍĐĸA (1980) proposed the new substitute name Philonthus jurecekianus Boháč & Hromád-

ka, 1980 for Philonthus jureceki Boháč & Hromádka, 1977, a junior secondary homonym of Philonthus jureceki (Rambousek, 1913) .
