Comments. DUVIVIER (1884) described this species based on one female from Manilla. Subsequent authors followed its classification in Platyxantha (WILCOX 1973, KIMOTO 1990). REID (1999) transferred it to Taumacera . Based on the general appearence of the holotype and presence of a metafemoral spine, I transfer it to Hoplosaenidea .
