Bitomoides van Achterberg, 2004: 331 . Type species: Bitomus latus Papp, 1999 .

Diagnosis. The noticeable characteristics of genus Bitomoides are as follows, temples and vertex smooth and shiny; occipital carina protruding dorsally in lateral view and near middle level of eyes curved; mandibles moderately slender, twisted apically, without basal tooth; around base of middle coxa with a circular carina (Fig. 4b); dorsope absent; basal carina of first tergite united and continued as a medio-longitudinal carina; second metasomal tergite distinctly longer than third tergite and bordered posteriorly by a wide and curved second metasomal suture, second and third tergite longitudinally striate; third tergite without sharp lateral crease.
