This species was first reported as Typhlodromus (Anthoseius) kazachstanicus Wainstein in Algeria by Athias- Henriot (1960b), but then identified as a new species by Wainstein & Arutunjan (1967). Nothing is known of its biology. This is the second report of this species in the world.
Specimens examined: 2003, Ras El Ma on Cydonia oblonga (Rosaceae) (1 female), Silene sedoides (Caryophyllaceae) (1 female), near Larache on Chamaerops humilis (Arecaceae) (1 female), Saïdia on Lygos raetrum (Fabaceae) (1 female).
Previous records: Algeria.
