Crocidium phaenochilum Hesse, 1938 (Fig. 15)

Spermathecae: spermathecae without a conspicuous reservoir, distinguished only by a darker area on the extremities of the spermathecal ducts. This area with longitudinal axis equivalent to 3 times of sperm pump length; spermathecal ducts 10 times longer than sperm pump, uniting to form a short common spermathecal duct; sperm pump placed at nearly ½ of the spermathecal duct; sclerotized collars developed on both ends of sperm pumps. Material examined: Paratype. South Africa. Northern Cape: Kamieskroon (Namaqualand), 2 females (one dissected), Nov. 1936, (collector unknown). Deposited in the South African Museum, Cape Town, South Africa.
