Current name: Mucuna urens (L.) DC. ( Fabaceae: Faboideae).

Note: Although Howard (Fl. Lesser Antilles 4: 510. 1988) indicated Plukenet material in Herb. Sloane as “type”, this was never seen by Linnaeus and is not original material for the name.
