Remarks. Although Breuning (1956) only designated one male type, which was deposited in NHML, we found a female “ paratype ” in NMB. In the first paragraph of Breuning’s (1956) description, he mentioned both male and female. This “ paratype ” in NMB was labelled with “H te Birmanie, Etat de Momeit” and “ Glenea momeitensis, mihi, P.T.” (Breuning’s handwriting). It is obvious that this example is the female examined by Breuning when he described the species.

The record from Nepal (Weigel A., 2006) is a misidentification of H. gemella Lin et Yang sp. nov.
