General distribution and habitat. Indo-West Pacific; boring into littoral rocks (Jones et al. 2000; present study).
Descriptive features and remarks. Specimens with small rostrum (Fig. 2 e) and no lateral capitular plates (Fig. 2 d). Largest specimen with capitular width 6.0–7.0 mm, capitular length 4.0–7.0 mm, peduncular length 13.0–15.5 mm.
The specimens were collected from their burrows in intertidal rocks at Chabahar (25° 16'N, 60°44'E) and Qeshm Island (26° 54'N, 56° 09' E) (Fig. 1).
