Microvelia venustatis Drake & Harris, 1933a: 53 (original description).

Identification. Our specimens were identified based on the mesonotum of apterous forms partially covered by the pronotum; the body length usually less than 1.5 mm; the body color black; and antennomere IV fusiform and thicker than antennomeres I–III (Figs. 8G–I) (Rdio & Moreira 2011; Rodrigues & Moreira 2023).

Examined material. All specimens apterous. BRAZIL, Rio Grande do Norte: Parnamirim, Rio Pitimbu, Vale Encantado, 5°55’41.1”S 35°10’46.5”W; 06-X-2019; R . P. R. Canejo, leg.
