Ovatametra obesa Kenaga, 1942: 138–139 (original description).
Identification. Our specimens were identified based on the body color pattern, including the continuous dark median stripe from the anterior to the posterior margin of the mesonotum (Figs. 11D–E); and the presence of a tuft of black setae on the posterior margin of abdominal mediotergite VII (Fig. 11F) (Kenaga 1942; Nieser 1970).
