Tenthredo tschinggischanensis Muche, 1965
A junior subjective synonym of Tenthredo (Tenthredella) balteata Klug, 1817, syn. nov.
TYPE. Tenthredo tschinggischanensis Muche, 1965 b: Holotype Ƥ (Fig. 38). Type locality not stated precisely; data for the complete type material: “ Mongolei: südöstl. von somon Bajancogt, 1600 m, 4. VII. 1964.— 12 km südöstl. von Ulan-Bator, 1500 m, 6. VII. 64. 120 km nördlich von Ulan-Bator, 1100 m, 7. VII. 64. —Ulan-Bator, 1500 m, 18. VI. 63.—leg. KASZAB“. Type locality: “ Mongolia, Central aimak, 12 km SO v. Ulan Baator Nucht i. Bogdo ul 1500 m ”.
DISCUSSION. Muche compared T. tschinggischanensis with T. ferruginea Schrank, 1776, a variable species similar to T. balteata . A comparison of the holotype of tschinggischanensis (Fig. 38) with specimens of T. balteata, revealed no significant characters that can be used to distinguish these nominal taxa. Tenthredo balteata is widely distributed in the Palaearctic realm, and is to be found mainly in mountainous areas.
