Comments. This is a well-known species, widely distributed in the Palaearctic region, and Ethiopia and India. It is newly recorded from Saudi Arabia . We give here figures of the antenna and the mesosoma with TI attached (Figs 1 and 2). In the Saudi specimens, the ‘glands’ on TI and TV of gaster are present (Fig. 2) as in the Indian specimens (Hayat 2006: fig. 771).
