Present name: Trachylepis acutilabris (Peters, 1862) fide Uetz & Hošek (2016).

Remarks: Additional syntypes are BMNH 67.6.14.2-3; 1935.2.8.9 and 1946.8.19.19; MNHN 1471; MCZ 21037-38; ZMB 4214 (six specimens), 4215, 4216 (three specimens) (Bauer et al. 2003).
