DISTRIBUTION. Europe except its westernmost parts, Western Siberia, Turkey, Iran, Turkmenistan [Fikáček et al., 2015; Przewoźny, 2019]. New for Kemerovo Area.

REMARKS. All records from the Kemerovo Area previously cited under this name [Efimov, 2010] belong to H. aterrimus . The distribution of the species in Western Siberia as a whole requires clarification.
